I wish the coat was a couple inches longer to cover more of his back but otherwise it's a nice coat to keep the snow off his back. It does have a soft inside but he wears the kurgo sweater underneath for added warmth. It appears to be keeping him warm while still allowing plenty of movement!I was and am still excited to get this coat but to my disappointment it did not come with the LED light strip. This is the main reason I purchased the coat.I went a head and used it as I needed to.I WAS CONTACTED BY CUSTOMER SERVICE WHERE THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY WERE SENDING ME A REPLACEMENT COAT.THANK YOUI can't accurately state how effective this garment is since my puppy has already outgrown it. It is not difficult to put it on and it seems to be well-made with great features. I was able to buy it with a deep discount by buying the collar in the package deal. I likely will never use the collar, which is a nice one, but the savings outweighs the waste and someone else will get some use for the collar. If you need a collar then this is the deal of the century.This coat may fit over your dog's head, but it may only go half way down their back. Wasted $8 because I was charged for return shipping. I understand that not all items will fit perfectly, but the shipping cost could have been absorbed and I would have just ordered a different size. Instead, I'll pay the shipping and choose a better product.A well designed and fabulous quality coat. Love the Kurgo coats for my small JRT as they don't hinder her super fast gait.My dog is a 11lbs small dog and the xs fits her. It is perfect for mild winter, and for extreme winter (-30C), there is room to expand so she can wear a sweater underneath.
