My Pitty was destroying her leashes so a metal one was needed. She is NOT trying to chew this one. The handle is comfortable and for me standing 4'11" it's a 4' leash is a comfortable length.Got this for my pup for an upcoming PRIDE parade. I wanted something shorter so that she wouldn't get far away in the crowd and she would feel safe. While I think the chain is a little heavier than I'm used to, I think it's a still a perfect leash. We've already used it a couple of times and the control it gives me to keep her closer is a big benefit.This leash saved my life. I was going crazy with my puppy tugging on the leash constantly and this stopped the problem immediately. Now our walks are pleasant again. It’s also well made and comfortable in my hand.Got this originally to help train my Great Dane pup for walks without having to worry about tearing up the leash (super chewer). Liked it so much I got another for my 3 yr old Dane. I've had it 8 months and it is still intact and still works great!Used 4 my 125 lb dog!!We bought this to tether our puppy at night by her bed. She chewed threw other leashes and this did exactly what we wanted, no chewing at all and the perfect length so she can’t go around the room.Obviously the dog can’t chew through the chain. It is heavyweight. She did chew through the rope interwoven in the chain in less than 2 days. I pulled the rope out. We are using it as a training lead on our almost 8 month old puppy, so she wears it all the time. It’s definitely louder as she drags it around without the rope inside the chain. It is also shorter than a standard leash (it says this in description, but I didn’t read it closely & was surprised at the length).We love the look and feel of this leash. I got it because my dog likes to chew on his leash as we walk or when we’re trying to go inside LOL so I had to get a chain leash which works like a charm. And I can attach a second leash to the handle to make it longer when desired. Definitely recommend but just know it is only 4 feet.
