this is actually the closest coat we have found for our pug that relatively fits him. Jack's sizing: neck 14 1/2- chest 22" - length 13" ......which could be summed up with - almost impossible to find a jacket that fits perfectly.Pros:- the neck area is great and the sizing is very accurate- if your dog has a larger than 15" neck, it will not work as there is no way to adjust the neck line, you slip this part over the dogs head like putting on a sweater.- NO VELCRO...I have come to hate this stuff. when you are playing outside it always seems to come undone after a while with snow clumping on the strips as they loosen. This jacket has plastic clip system like on a harness that can be adjusted very easily and worked great for us. Again, I think the sizing given in the description at the top of the page is pretty accurate.- It stayed in place while outside for a quick romp and while doing his business.- He doesn't hate it as opposed to another jacket that seemed to be good fit. He ran under the bed and would not come out when we tried to put it on him.- he seems comfortable when he is outside even with this below 0 temps.Cons:- It is short in length, I would have liked it 2 1/2 to 3 inches longer. The end of the jacket is a little past where his ribs end and he begins to tapper in at the waist.- The fleece part seems a little light weight. I have been searching for jackets like the ones we had for our pugs that are no longer with us. I realized after a bit I needed to stop searching, those jackets were purchased 19 to 20 years ago and things change. If you dog has a thin coat and your temperatures are below zero, you may need a sweater on under this coat for extra warmth.Summary:- overall it is the best jacket we have been able to find to fit his unique shape and size. Jack is definitely happier with it than without, we don't feel quite so bad making him go outside and he no longer asks to be picked up after a few minutes.
